Just got back from a weekend trip to Sayulita, Mexico- a quaint fishing village known internationally for surfing, art galleries and its picturesque beauty. We went with Tom & Lizzy to celebrate their 1yr anniversary & Jonathan’s 33rd birthday!
I want to do a 2nd Mexico collection based on Sayulita & I love these traditional yet festive red & white textiles that we saw a lot. I’m thinking about using red fire agate found in Mexico with silver & white agate for the collection. I also might add something blue since Sayulita is known for surfing & we went SCUBA diving while we were there.
My first Mexico collection was based on San Miguel de Allende and used a very traditional mix of coral, turquoise & silver.
